TEBOGO BRANDON OLIFANT (TBO)
Founder of TEEBO Productions, Professional Actor, Playwright, MC, Motivational Speaker, Physical Theatre and Director – BRANDON OLIFANT BioWith 7 years of experience in the field of the art, It comes with no surprise that Brandon furthered his studies at the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT). Him being mentored by one of the biggest South African Comedians KEDIBONE MULAUDZI opened up doors for him to perform comedy at Tshwane University of technology, Morola Sun, Heidelburg and Boksburg, he also won the YFM Comedy Competition in 2015. This opened more doors for him as an MC as he started doing school events as an MC, then moved to Parties and also had an opportunity to work with the government in 2014 by doing a drug awareness programme in Johannesburg CBD, and a June 16 event in Eastrand (Ekhuruleni). His mother says that Brandon is born to be an Artist and that he will one day leave a legacy in the South African Entertainment industry. Brandon remains being an Artist and continues to venture into job creating within the arts.
Brandon Olifant grew up as child who only wanted to be successful and believed in his abilities to bring forth his success. He started writing stories from the age of 15 which he later turned them into plays. After presenting his scripts to Regina Dube, he managed to sell two scripts and that’s when he started taking writing seriously. He then got a television role as a presenter in 2012, which is when Brandon professionally started his career and that was when his love and urge to be an artist started, as he started doing theatre under the guidance of Regina Dube. Brandon then started making TV appearances on the local film on Etv and Mnet. Also went as far as meeting Lebo Gugunguluza, Cindy Swanepoel, Sello Ramlahluane, Thulane Mbatha, Thembi Nyandeni, Dr John Kani and many big faces in the industry that taught him a thing or two about the Arts.
In 2017 he traveled to The Grahamstown Arts Festival to perform in a show called Our dogs: our Heroes Directed by Millicent Tinstwalo.
