Wizeman Zitha Artist Profile
Wizeman is a 23 years old actor, model, hairdresser,
vlogger, and brand influencer signed to Boss models in Johannesburg and D&A
in Cape Town.
He is a drama graduate from the Tshwane University of Technology
(TUT). His modelling career took off in 2016 when he was doing his second year
and he has not looked back since.
Wizeman was born in a village called Loloka next to Giyani
in Limpopo. He relocated to another village in Thohoyandou right after primary
school and completed matric at Khatisa High School. It was his Grade 10 Life
Orientation teacher that picked up his modelling talent so he started entering
a lot of pageants and won some of them, even coming in second place in Mr
Malamulele. It was in Grade 12 when he realized he wanted to be in the
entertainment and media industry so he applied to TUT and UCT only but due to
financial constraints he could not afford to go to UCT for the audition.
Wizeman was in his second year at TUT in 2016 he took
pictures with his phone and sent them to different agencies, he got rejected.
It was then he realized that it’s not that he does not have what it takes but
he was taking the wrong pictures, and that is a mistake a lot of people make.
He was spotted on Instagram by his first agent and his first modelling gig was
with David Tlale.
Wizeman has worked with remarkable photographers and
designers including the likes of David Tlale, Roseyandvittori and Maxivive just
to name a few. He has shot campaigns for Total sports, Spitz, and different SA
catalogs.
He has also featured in an international magazine called Risk magazine. He was part of the models for ‘The Intern’ David Tlale that was played on SABC 3. He has walked in South African Fashion (SAFW), Mercedes Benz Fashion Week now called African Fashion Week (AFI). He has shot an international commercial for Mr Muscle that will run in SA, Egypt, Nigeria, and Asia next year.
His advice to other aspiring models is that they need to have a thick skin it’s a jungle there and you may face a lot of rejection. One needs to be able to stomach and just continue being persistent.
He says it’s very important to get educated, minimum at least get matric and also one needs to have people skills and be friendly. . Modelling is about how you look and you need to know how to speak, you need to have a personality, be friendly. For anyone who would like to communicate or contact Wizeman Zitha:
